FairFare는 국가 평균이 아니라 여행지·가격 구역·장소 유형·품목 조건이 맞는 최근 관측 범위를 보여줍니다.

판정 단위
기본 단위는 국가 → 여행지 → 가격 구역 → 장소 유형 → 품목 → 수량·단위입니다. 국가는 통화와 탐색 범위이며 국가 전체 가격을 지역 적정가격으로 표시하지 않습니다. 세부 구역 표본이 부족하면 여행지+장소 유형, 여행지 전체 순으로 상위 범위를 사용하고 실제 사용 범위를 화면에 표시합니다.
가격 범위와 판정
통상 범위는 최근 90일의 정규화된 관측에서 P25–P75를 사용합니다. 중앙값은 대표값, P90은 높지만 가능한 상한 참고값입니다. P75 이하는 통상 범위, P75 초과 P90 이하는 통상보다 높음, P90 초과는 통상 범위보다 크게 높음으로 설명합니다. 가격만으로 사기라고 단정하지 않습니다.
출처와 공개 Gate
공식요금, 현장 조사, 메뉴·가격표, 파트너 자료, 여행자 증빙을 구분합니다. 관측가격 가이드는 한국어·영어 번역, 최근 30일 이내 유효 스냅샷, 최근 180일 이내 검증 출처가 필요합니다. 운영자가 조사자료를 초기 입력할 때는 각 관측과 원문 출처를 직접 연결하고, 품목당 서로 독립적인 출처 소유자 3곳 이상과 서로 다른 HTTPS 원문 3개 이상을 DB가 다시 확인합니다. 한 매장이나 체인의 가격 하나를 도시 평균처럼 공개하지 않습니다. 현재 유효한 공식 운영사 요금은 별도 경로로 공개하며 출처·유효일·최근 확인일과 관측 표본·기여자 0건을 표시하고 사용자 관측가격과 하나의 평균으로 섞지 않습니다. 공개·신선도·검증 출처 Gate를 모두 통과한 품목 상세만 검색 색인과 광고 후보가 됩니다. 계산기, 제보·지원·정책 화면과 Gate 미통과 상세에는 광고 로더를 넣지 않습니다.
신뢰도와 이상치
표본 수, 독립 기여자 수, 검증 증빙 수, 최신 관측일을 공개합니다. 공개 신뢰도는 고유 기여자와 표본 기준을 함께 사용합니다. 이상치는 즉시 삭제하지 않고 별도 상태로 검토하며, 같은 사용자의 영향력은 제한합니다.
환율
표시 통화는 동일한 현지 가격 범위를 환산한 값이지 비교 국가의 시장 가격이 아닙니다. ECB, Vietcombank와 네팔·스리랑카·미얀마·요르단·탄자니아·페루·볼리비아 중앙은행의 일별 또는 영업일 기준 공식 자료로 VND·NPR·LKR·MMK·JOD·TZS·PEN·BOB를 포함한 1,122개 방향별 통화쌍을 계산합니다. 워커는 24시간마다 갱신하고 선택한 환율 중 가장 이른 관측일을 보수적인 기준일로 API와 화면에 표시합니다. 화면의 환율은 카드·현금·송금 거래환율이 아닌 공식기관 일별 기준환율입니다. MMK는 낮은 CBM reference 값이 아니라 별도 표기된 Market Trading Rate를 사용합니다. AED·EGP·MAD 등 아직 승인된 일일 1차 소스가 없는 통화는 환율 확인 중으로 표시합니다. 5일을 넘긴 값과 초기 예시값은 운영 API가 사용하지 않으며, 환율이 없으면 0을 표시하지 않고 명시적으로 보류합니다.
한계
서비스 등급, 시간대, 관광지, 세금·서비스료·팁, 옵션과 흥정 여부에 따라 정당한 가격 차이가 생길 수 있습니다. 결제 전 공식 요금과 현장 조건을 함께 확인하세요.

Decision scope
The scope is country → destination → price zone → venue type → item → quantity and unit. A country is a currency and discovery boundary, not a local fair-price result. When a detailed zone lacks evidence, FairFare falls back to destination plus venue, then destination level, and discloses the scope used.
Ranges and classifications
The typical range is P25–P75 of normalized observations from the latest 90 days. The median is the representative value and P90 is an upper plausible reference. Values up to P75 are typical; values between P75 and P90 are above typical; values above P90 are materially above the recent range. Price alone is never labeled fraud.
Sources and publication gate
Official fares, field research, menus or boards, partner material, and traveler evidence remain distinct. An observed-price guide requires Korean and English names, an eligible snapshot from the last 30 days, and sources verified within 180 days. Operator-seeded research links each observation to its original source, and the database rechecks at least three independent source owners and three distinct HTTPS originals per item. One shop or chain price is never presented as a city range. Current operator fares use a separate path that exposes source, validity, latest check, and zero observation and contributor counts; official fares are never blended into observed prices. Only detail pages that pass the publication, freshness, and verified-source gates are candidates for search indexing and ads. The price checker, contribution, support, policy, and gate-failing pages never load ads.
Confidence and outliers
FairFare exposes sample count, independent contributor count, verified evidence count, and the latest observation. Confidence depends on both unique contributors and sample size. Outliers enter review states instead of being silently deleted, and one contributor's influence is capped.
Exchange rates
Display currencies are conversions of the same local range, not prices in comparison countries. FairFare combines daily or business-day official first-party data from the ECB, Vietcombank, and the central banks of Nepal, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Jordan, Tanzania, Peru, and Bolivia to derive 1,122 directed pairs including VND, NPR, LKR, MMK, JOD, TZS, PEN, and BOB. The worker refreshes every 24 hours and exposes the earliest selected observation date as a conservative reference date in the API and UI. The displayed value is an official daily reference rate, not a card, cash-exchange, or remittance transaction quote. MMK uses the separately labeled CBM Market Trading Rate, not the lower reference value. AED, EGP, MAD, and currencies without an approved first-party daily feed remain explicitly pending. Rates older than five days and bootstrap examples are excluded; missing rates stay visibly pending instead of becoming zero.
Limitations
Service level, time, tourist zones, taxes, service charges, tips, options, and negotiation can justify variation. Check official fares and the exact purchase conditions before paying.
